Getting Started

Golf Hour Lessons

Who are Golf Hour lessons designed for?

Golf Hour offers lesson paths for golfers at every stage. Tier 1 is a comfortable starting point for new or less-experienced golfers. Tier 2 is designed for golfers who already play and want to improve consistency, contact, distance control, direction, and ball flight. Tier 3 provides a more customized coaching path for experienced golfers with advanced goals.

How do I choose the right lesson tier?

Choose Tier 1 when you want to build a strong foundation, learn basic setup and swing skills, or gain confidence in a no-pressure environment. Choose Tier 2 when you already have golf experience and want help diagnosing recurring misses, understanding your swing, and creating a focused practice plan. Golfers seeking advanced analysis or a custom coaching structure should submit a Tier 3 inquiry.

Where are lessons held?

Lessons are held indoors in a Golf Hour simulator bay. The indoor environment provides a comfortable, consistent place to learn and practice throughout the year without weather, course traffic, or seasonal conditions affecting the session.

Are lessons individual or group-based?

The Tier 1 and Tier 2 lesson-and-practice packages include individual instruction. Coaching is focused on your experience, goals, comfort level, swing tendencies, and areas for improvement.

Why combine a lesson with simulator practice?

Immediate practice helps you apply the instructor's feedback while it is still fresh. You can feel the adjustment, repeat it, and begin turning the lesson into a more dependable skill instead of leaving with only a tip or explanation.

Can I meet the golf instructor before choosing a package?

You can review the instructor profile to learn more about the coaching approach and experience. Meet our golf instructor .

New to Golf

Tier 1 Lesson FAQs

Who is Tier 1 best suited for?

Tier 1 is designed for people who are completely new to golf, have played casually without formal instruction, or want help building a stronger foundation. It is also a good fit for golfers who want to improve grip, stance, setup, clean contact, confidence, and basic golf etiquette.

Do I need previous golf experience for Tier 1?

No. Tier 1 is specifically designed to be beginner-friendly and comfortable. You do not need a perfect swing or previous formal instruction—just an interest in learning and a willingness to practice.

What skills can Tier 1 help me develop?

Tier 1 can help you develop a confident golf foundation, including:

  • Club basics
  • Grip, stance, and setup
  • Making cleaner contact
  • Confidence and basic golf etiquette
  • A clearer understanding of what to practice next
What is included in the Tier 1 lesson-and-practice package?

Tier 1 includes four individual 60-minute sessions. Each session combines 30 minutes of individual golf instruction with 30 minutes of individual solo practice in the same simulator bay. The package also includes 120 Anytime Simulator Minutes for additional individual practice.

What happens during a Tier 1 session?

You first work one-on-one with an instructor on the skills and priorities appropriate for your experience. You then move directly into solo practice in the same simulator bay so you can reinforce what you learned without losing momentum.

What are the Tier 1 Anytime Simulator Minutes?

The included 120 Anytime Simulator Minutes provide two additional hours of individual simulator practice. They may be booked at available times after your first 60-minute lesson-and-practice session.

Game Improvement

Tier 2 Lesson FAQs

Who is Tier 2 best suited for?

Tier 2 is designed for golfers who already play or have played before and want a more dependable game. It is a good fit for golfers seeking better contact, consistency, distance control, direction, ball flight, and a more focused practice plan.

What swing problems can Tier 2 address?

Tier 2 can help identify and address recurring patterns such as a slice, hook, push, pull, thin shot, or fat shot. The instructor works with you to understand the cause of the miss, experience a productive adjustment, and practice the change with useful simulator feedback.

What is included in the Tier 2 lesson-and-practice package?

Tier 2 includes four individual 60-minute sessions. Each session combines 30 minutes of individual golf instruction with 30 minutes of individual solo practice in the same simulator bay. The package also includes 120 Anytime Simulator Minutes for additional individual practice.

What happens during a Tier 2 session?

The instructor evaluates your swing, contact patterns, ball flight, and recurring misses. After the individual lesson, you immediately practice the lesson priorities on your own in the same simulator bay while the feedback is still fresh.

How is Tier 2 different from receiving a quick swing tip?

Tier 2 is structured as an improvement plan rather than a one-time tip. The sessions help you identify the cause of a miss, understand the correction, practice it immediately, and continue building on the work across multiple visits.

What are the Tier 2 Anytime Simulator Minutes?

The included 120 Anytime Simulator Minutes provide two additional hours of individual simulator practice. They may be booked at available times after your first 60-minute lesson-and-practice session.

Planning Your Lessons

Scheduling and Next Steps

When are Tier 1 and Tier 2 sessions available?

The lesson package pages list sessions as available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Session availability may vary, so coordinate scheduling with the instructor after selecting your lesson path.

How do I schedule my sessions?

After selecting the appropriate lesson package, work with the golf instructor to schedule the individual sessions. Each visit is designed to build on the previous lesson so you can continue developing with clear priorities.

Do I need to use all of my lesson sessions at once?

No. The packages are structured as a series of individual sessions. Scheduling the sessions over multiple visits allows you to learn, practice, and build on the previous lesson.

What should I expect to work on between sessions?

You should leave each session with clear priorities and a focused practice plan. The immediate solo-practice portion and additional simulator minutes give you opportunities to reinforce the changes between lessons.

What is Tier 3 or custom coaching?

Tier 3 is a more personalized path for experienced golfers with advanced goals. It may include advanced swing analysis, launch-data review, performance tracking, course-management strategy, and a coaching structure tailored to the golfer's needs.

How do I get started with Tier 3 coaching?

Complete the Tier 3 inquiry form and tell Golf Hour about your experience, goals, and current needs. The team will use that information to identify the appropriate instructor, coaching structure, and next step. Submit a Tier 3 inquiry .
